La diabetis \u00e9s una malaltia que afecta un gran nombre de persones de tot el m\u00f3n. No t\u00e9 cura, tot i que s\u00ed ha un tractament i es poden prendre mesures de prevenci\u00f3. La seva celebraci\u00f3 pret\u00e9n conscienciar la gent de les causes, s\u00edmptomes, tractament i complicacions associats a la diabetis.<\/p>\n<h3>Qu\u00e8 \u00e9s la diabetis?<\/h3>\n<p>La diabetis \u00e9s una malaltia cr\u00f2nica del metabolisme en la qual els nivells de sucre sanguinis s\u00f3n m\u00e9s alts del normal. Aquests nivells es regulen mitjan\u00e7ant una hormona anomenada insulina que \u00e9s secretada pel p\u00e0ncrees. Les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules del nostre cos necessiten sucre per obtenir energia i funcionar, per\u00f2 un exc\u00e9s prolongat dels nivells de glucosa en sang pot provocar alteracions en diferents \u00f2rgans com ara els ulls o els ronyons.<\/p>\n<p>Hi ha diferents tipus de diabetis, en els quals destaquem:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>&#8211; Tipus 1:<\/strong> \u00c9s autoimmune, \u00e9s a dir que el nostre sistema defensiu ataca les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules pancre\u00e0tiques que secreten insulina. Es caracteritza per la incapacitat de l&#8217;organisme de produir insulina.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>&#8211; Tipus 2:<\/strong> Est\u00e0 relacionada amb l&#8217;estil de vida de les persones i es caracteritza per una resist\u00e8ncia a la insulina o una producci\u00f3 insuficient d&#8217;aquesta. \u00c9s la forma m\u00e9s comuna de la patologia i la majoria de les persones presenten un exc\u00e9s de pes. Pot passar anys sense ser diagnosticada, pel que \u00e9s important con\u00e8ixer la diabetis i les seves caracter\u00edstiques per reduir riscos de complicacions derivades d&#8217;aquesta.<\/p>\n<h3>Quins s\u00f3n els s\u00edmptomes m\u00e9s comuns de la diabetis?<\/h3>\n<p>Els s\u00edmptomes m\u00e9s comuns de diabetis s\u00f3n:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; Necessitat d&#8217;orinar constantment, el que provoca deshidrataci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; Set inusual per recuperar aquesta manca de l\u00edquid.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; Fam extrema i p\u00e8rdua de pes inusual a causa que l&#8217;energia no arriba a les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; Cansament i irritabilitat extrems.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; Visi\u00f3 borrosa, formigueig o entumiment de mans i peus i infeccions recurrents.<\/p>\n<h3>Quin tractament se segueix en aquests casos?<\/h3>\n<p>El tractament de la diabetis es realitza mitjan\u00e7ant l&#8217;administraci\u00f3 d&#8217;insulina artificial o altres medicaments antidiab\u00e8tics, juntament amb una modificaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;alimentaci\u00f3 i l&#8217;estil de vida. A m\u00e9s, s&#8217;haur\u00e0 de rectificar el sobrep\u00e8s.<\/p>\n<h3>Quines complicacions s&#8217;associen a la diabetis?<\/h3>\n<p>Quan hi ha un mal control de la concentraci\u00f3 de glucosa en sang es pot augmentar el risc de patir altres malalties i infeccions. Es poden donar malalties cardiovasculars, dels ulls com ceguesa, renals com una insufici\u00e8ncia, nervioses i fins i tot de circulaci\u00f3 afectant especialment als peus.<\/p>\n<h3>Qu\u00e8 puc fer per prevenir la diabetis?<\/h3>\n<p>Per prevenir l&#8217;aparici\u00f3 de diabetis en persones amb risc per a desenvolupar-la, la principal opci\u00f3 \u00e9s portar un estil de vida saludable evitant el sedentarisme, el sobrep\u00e8s o l&#8217;obesitat.<\/p>\n<h3>He de modificar l&#8217;alimentaci\u00f3 si tinc diabetis?<\/h3>\n<p>La dieta d&#8217;una persona amb diabetis ha de seguir sent <a href=\"https:\/\/nomen.es\/ca\/category\/dieta-equilibrada-ca\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>variada i equilibrada<\/strong><\/a>. La glucosa (sucre) l&#8217;obtenim dels aliments rics en carbohidrats, per tant, s&#8217;ha de controlar les quantitats i el moment del dia en qu\u00e8 els ingerim per evitar excessos de sucre en sang. S&#8217;haurien de consumir ben repartits al llarg del dia prioritzant els carbohidrats complexos com pasta, arr\u00f2s, patata o llegums (preferentment integrals), enfront dels simples com mel, sucre, sucs, fruites o lactis.<\/p>\n<h3>Quina difer\u00e8ncia hi ha entre carbohidrats complexos i carbohidrats simples?<\/h3>\n<p>La difer\u00e8ncia b\u00e0sica entre aquests aliments \u00e9s la rapidesa en qu\u00e8 arriba la glucosa a la sang. Els <a href=\"https:\/\/nomen.es\/ca\/els-hidrats-de-carboni-dins-duna-alimentacio-equilibrada-variada-i-suficient\/\" target=\"_blank\">carbohidrats<\/a> complexos ho fan de forma gradual mentre que els simples el fan r\u00e0pidament. S&#8217;hauria de limitar el consum d&#8217;hidrats de carboni simples per evitar pics de glucosa en sang, \u00e9s a dir, perqu\u00e8 la quantitat de sucre en sang augmenti progressivament evitant els excessos caracter\u00edstics d&#8217;aquesta patologia.
